Getting Updates
Article Friendly is updated with fixes, improvements and Addons, and there is an easy option
to get the newest updates for your site.
Check For Updates
This link can be found on the Article Friendly site settings page (first page when you first login as admin) and is at the top right of the page. By clicking on the "Check For Updates" link, you will go to a page which will check for any new updates or addons for your site.

If you look at the first line in the graphic, you can see that your current Article Friendly version is listed. For each update, there will also be a version number. If the version number of the update is larger than your current version of Article Friendly, you will need to download and install the file(s) to upgrade your site.
How Do I Install Updates?
When you find an update to install, you can click on the download link which will download the update file to your computer. Unzip the download, and an instruction text file will give direction on how to install the update. Mostly, you will simply upload the update to your site overwriting the old file(s). Looking at the graphic above, you can see the last update version is higher than current version of 5_1_3, so you'd download the last update in the list to upgrade your site to 5_1_4.
