Authors Block
Continuing on with our tutorial on the admin left hand navbar links, we will now look at the
section entitled "Authors". These links are for administrating your site's approved and unapproved authors.
Unapproved Authors
The first link is the "Unapproved Authors". This link will take you to the page to view/edit/delete/approve individual unapproved authors.

Approved Authors Link
The Approved authors link is next, and it is exactly the same as the unapproved authors EXCEPT all the authors in the list have already been approved, and if you click on the author's name in the list, you will be able to get a list of all their submitted articles.
Banned Authors Link
Again, the list and options are exactly the same as the two previous links except the authors in this list have been banned and cannot submit further articles. You may click on the "Banned?" link to unban them if you wish.
Search Author
You can search for an author account by choosing from a drop down list or by doing a text search of thier name, email or whatever info you may have.
Create Author Account
With this option, you can create new author accounts if needed. this can be useful if you have your own articles to submit and do not wish to go thru the normal signup process your live authors go thru to create a new account.
Mass Email Link
You can email all your approved authors using this option. You can also set the sending rate in your admin site settings page.
Email One Link
Good for sending an email to one specific author. You can search for the author, then write out your email in either plaintext or HTML.
CSV Author Email Export
Using this link you can export your author's names and emails to a comma separated list for import into your favorite email program. The CSV will be saved to your computer.
Author Photos
Article Friendly allows for authors to upload their photos to be included with their approved articles. Only works though if http file uploads is allowed by your hosting provider. This option allows you to view any uploaded author photos, and remove them if you need to.
